Team Collaboration Is Here: Invite Teammates to Your Aligno Account

Aligno started as a tool for one person: upload a design, get a client to look at it, get a clear yes or a clear list of changes. That part hasn't changed. But a lot of the people running that workflow aren't actually working alone, they just didn't have a way to bring a second designer or a project lead into their Aligno account without sharing a login. That gap is closed now.

What shipped

Pro and Studio accounts can invite teammates directly from the dashboard. Invited teammates get full access to your projects and designs. They work under your account and share your existing plan limits, at no extra cost.

  • Free: no team seats. This tier is still built for trying Aligno solo on a real client review.
  • Pro: up to 3 team seats included.
  • Studio: custom seat counts, sized to your account when you get in touch.

There's no separate "team plan" or per-seat charge bolted on top. If you're already on Pro, the seats are just there.

How it works

Invites are managed from the Team page in your dashboard. As the account owner, you send an invite by email; once it's accepted, that person shows up on your roster and can start working on your projects right away, no separate subscription, no second login to keep straight.

A few things worth knowing:

  • One account at a time. A person can be an active collaborator on only one Aligno account at once. Accepting a new invite while already active elsewhere quietly moves them off the old one.
  • Billing and integrations stay with the owner. Teammates get full project access. Subscription changes and account deletion stay owner-only, and so does managing connected integrations like Slack or Figma. One person stays accountable for the account, without blocking the day-to-day work teammates need to do.
  • Seats aren't billed per person. Because Pro already includes its 3 seats, adding a teammate doesn't change what you pay. If you're on Studio and need more seats than your account currently allows, that's a conversation, not a checkout flow.

Who this is for

If you're a solo freelancer, nothing changes for you, Aligno still works exactly the way it did. This is for the small agencies and studios where a second designer needs to check in on client feedback, or a project lead wants visibility into approval status without pinging you for a screenshot every time a client comments.

It's deliberately not trying to become a full internal-team review platform with unlimited seats and project-management integrations. If that's what you need, tools built for larger internal teams are still the better fit. What shipped here is narrower. It's built for the two or three people already working a client relationship together, now able to do it from the same account.

Getting started

If you're on Pro or Studio, open your dashboard and look for Team in the sidebar. If you're on Free, upgrading to Pro unlocks 3 seats immediately, no separate setup required.
